Broome CIRCLE is a grassroots organisation supporting the wellbeing of the Broome community through inclusive education, social connection, and support services. Many of the people they serve live remotely and face barriers to digital access — from poor connectivity to limited access to devices.
The Challenge
Digital inclusion is critical in remote areas like Broome. Without reliable devices or connectivity, community members — particularly young people, seniors, and First Nations families — are missing out on essential services, education, and communication.
Our Solution
TechForGood partnered with Broome CIRCLE to deliver:
- 📶 Mobile internet modems with long-range connectivity
These tools gave families and individuals in Broome — and surrounding communities — the chance to connect to what matters most: education, health, community services, and loved ones.
The Outcome
- ✅ People connected through our Catalysing Connections program
- 🌐 Increased digital literacy through local support and access
- 🧡 Empowered families and elders to access vital services independently
“This partnership isn’t just about devices. It’s about dignity, opportunity, and community.”
