Fitted for Work is a not-for-profit organisation helping women experiencing disadvantage gain the confidence and skills they need to face the barriers of employment to secure economic independence. TechForGood partnered with Fitted for Work to empower their clients with the digital tools and connectivity needed to thrive in a job-ready world.
The Challenge
Many of the women supported by Fitted for Work face multiple barriers to employment — and digital access is a big one. From not owning a device, to limited mobile data, the digital divide threatened to undermine their progress.
Our Solution
Through TechForGood’s Catalysing Connections Program, we provided Fitted for Work clients with:
- 📱 30 Mobile devices with SIM cards
- 🌐 12-month mobile data bundles
These tools meant participants could attend virtual job-readiness programs, apply for roles online, and stay connected with mentors and case managers.
The Outcome
Together, we created:
- ✅ 360 months of connectivity (and counting!)
- 🧡 A stronger bridge between job-readiness and digital inclusion
- 🌍 Measurable social procurement win for everyone involved
But the real result? Confidence. “I didn’t just get a device — I got my independence back,” shared one Fitted for Work participant.
