"Our aim is to bridge the digital divide in Australia, by assisting those who are digitally excluded to access technology, enabling meaningful human connections."

The Digital Divide: Facts & Figures

1 in 4 Australians lack access to basic social, educational, and economic connections and are at risk of being left behind in our digital world. 14% of Australians remain digitally excluded, whilst another 9.4% are highly excluded, affecting our most vulnerable communities.

First Nations people and rural communities are most at risk of digital exclusion, as are those people who fall into the lowest income bracket. The digital divide also affects people living with disability or chronic illness, those living in public housing, those who did not complete secondary school, people over the age of 65, the unemployed, migrants, refugees and domestic violence survivors.

Affordability stress has meant some are forced to pay more than 10% of their household income to maintain basic connectivity. The answer is simple: Create meaningful and long-lasting human connections. Together we can connect hearts and homes across our most vulnerable communities.

Catalysing Connections Program

TechForGood is turning your tech purchases into tools for connection.
