1. Standard Freight Charges
TechForGood reserves the right to charge freight on any order.
- A standard flat rate of $25 ex GST applies to all orders.
- Business customers receive free standard shipping for orders over $1,000 ex GST.
- Freight charges are applied at checkout during the order completion phase.
- All freight prices quoted exclude GST.
Orders that include large, heavy, or customised items, or that require special delivery arrangements (such as deliveries above street level or restricted access), may incur additional charges. We’ll provide a freight quote for approval prior to shipment in these cases.
2. Dispatch & Delivery
- Most in-stock items ship the same or next business day.
- Orders may be partially shipped to speed delivery.
- Deliveries are to physical street addresses only during business hours (no PO Boxes/Parcel Lockers).
- Incorrect or incomplete addresses may incur additional delivery fees.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day. Once an order has been dispatched, the delivery address cannot be changed. To update your address before dispatch, please contact us on 1300 375 053 as soon as possible.
3. Backorders & Stock Availability
Occasionally, a product may be temporarily out of stock.
- If stock is due to arrive at our distribution centre from the manufacturer within 10 working days, we’ll notify you and automatically ship your order once stock arrives.
- If the delay is expected to exceed two weeks, we’ll contact you to offer a choice: keep the order open and ship when available, or request a full refund.
- If your order contains multiple items, we may offer a partial shipment of in-stock products so you can get started sooner.
4. Direct-from-Distribution Model
As a certified B Corporation and carbon-neutral enterprise, TechForGood is committed to reducing the environmental footprint of every order. We ship directly from our distribution partners instead of warehousing products ourselves to:
- Reduce unnecessary freight kilometres and transport emissions
- Minimise double-handling and excess packaging
- Deliver faster with a smaller carbon footprint
5. Delivery Requirements & Redelivery Fees
Someone must be available to receive the order during standard business hours.
- If no one is available at delivery, a $25 ex GST redelivery fee may apply for each subsequent attempt.
- If an order is cancelled following a failed delivery attempt but reordered to the same address within 30 days, the $25 ex GST freight fee will apply to the new order.
6. Freight Refunds & Returns
Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable in the event of a change-of-mind return. If you receive incorrect or damaged goods, freight charges will be refunded as part of your return resolution.
All returns are subject to TechForGood’s Returns Policy and must comply with the specified procedures and timeframes.
7. Specialised Freight Services
Tailgate-assist and other specialised freight options are available upon request. These services exclude deliveries involving dangerous goods, oversized or overweight items (above 40 kg), unlevel access, unpacking, rubbish removal, or pallet breakdown.
