TechForGood Achieves Carbon Neutral Certification – A Sustainability Milestone

At TechForGood, we are committed to leveraging technology for a better world, and sustainability is a cornerstone of our mission. Today, we are thrilled to share a significant milestone - we're certified carbon neutral and proud to offset more than twice our emissions. 

Our latest Carbon Emissions Summary Report, created in partnership with NetNada, provides a transparent snapshot of our environmental impact and efforts to mitigate our carbon footprint. This verification process ensures that our sustainability claims are backed by data and credible third-party validation.

Our Carbon Emissions at a Glance 

NOTE: tCO2e stands for tonnes (t) of carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalent (e). CO2e is a standard unit for counting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions which includes carbon dioxide and other gases, such as methane. 

Between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024, our total carbon emissions were measured across three scopes: 

Not only have we offset 100% of our carbon emissions, but we have gone beyond neutrality - we have offset more than double our footprint! This makes TechForGood carbon positive, with 330 tonnes of C02 in the green, ensuring our sustainability actions contribute positively to the environment. 

What Does Being Carbon Neutral Mean? 

Many businesses strive to become carbon neutral, meaning they balance their emissions with equivalent offsets. However, at TechForGood, we aim higher. 

We have offset more than twice our emissions, which means we don’t just neutralise - we actively remove more carbon from the atmosphere than we produce. Our offsetting initiatives contribute to projects that drive meaningful environmental impact, such as reforestation, renewable energy investment, and carbon sequestration programs.

   • As a B Corp Certified tech supplier, we advocate for more responsible and ethically sourced technology solutions.
   • We actively support organizations making the shift towards sustainable IT procurement.
