Eaton Powerware relay interface card provides automatic shutdown function and is used for network monitoring of the UPS system through a connected computer. It features remote management adapter. Relay interface cards are of two models they are X-slot version and BestDock version. It has form factor of plug-in module. Cards of both models have dedicated adapters that are essential for dry-contact interface between the powerware UPS and any relay-connected computer, including AS/400. It has interface type of best dock slot. It has a data link protocol of RS-232. Relay interface cards X-Slot has a proprietary slot type.
